Too real.

To me, this video underdelivered. In no way am I discrediting the makers of the video, and I’m glad that the Brown community has a “Shit ____ Says” video to relate with so I applaud their efforts and intention. But I felt sort of letdown after watching this.

Yes, the latter half of the video touched upon humorous Bruonian experiences we can all relate to but most of the video focused on exchanges that could have happened at any other college. I felt that there were so many more creative and distinctly Brown ideas/vernacular that could have been included. Where is the talk about privilege? Gender and sexuality issues? Our propensity for activist work? Ratty/v-dub?

“Can you watch my laptop?” and “Where is SafeRide?” were hilarious and spot-on.
